New Project on Antibody Therapies for ALL at University Children's Hospital.

Within the framework of Clinical Research Unit 5010 "CATCH-ALL", the German Research Foundation (DFG) is also funding a subproject at the University Children's Hospital in Magdeburg. Together with Prof. Thomas Valerius, Kiel, the Translational Leukemia Research Group of Prof. Denis Schewe is investigating a new immunotherapeutic approach. It is being tested whether the combination of a novel CD19 antibody together with the blockade of a so-called immune checkpoint is effective in this form of leukemia. Various laboratory models will be used for this purpose. The project partners hope for a rapid translation of the results into clinical application.
