Range of Services: 

• after a serious accident/polytrauma
• for scalds and burns up to a certain degree of severity
• after severe intoxication
• for major operations and for pre- and post-operative care of complex surgical procedures in cooperation with other specialist disciplines, such as pediatric surgery, pediatric orthopedics, pediatric neurosurgery, and colleagues from ENT/MKG.
• in the case of life-threatening infections such as sepsis (“blood poisoning”), meningitis (meningitis) or pneumonia (pneumonia)
• severe lung disease, including invasive/non-invasive ventilation techniques and high-frequency ventilation; ventilation weaning; monitoring of home ventilation
• in the event of a serious illness of the nervous system
• If your child has a known metabolic disorder in collaboration with our pediatric endocrinologists
• in the event of severe kidney disease, including dialysis in cooperation with our pediatric nephrology department
• when performing short anesthesia and analgosedation for minor invasive procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, diagnostic punctures, radiological interventions)
• accompanying patients on transportation to and from other hospitals/clinics
